- 本國生：身分證字號含英文字母(大寫)前六碼加上出生月日(四碼)，共十碼。例如：身份證字號A123456789，出生月日為3月25日，密碼即為A123450325。
- 僑生、港澳生、陸生及外國學生：nccu(小寫)加上出生月日(四碼)，共八碼。例如：出生月日為3月25日，密碼為nccu0325 。
新進同仁
- 本國籍同仁：身分證字號含英文字母(大寫)前六碼。例如：身份證字號A123456789，密碼即為A12345。
- 外國籍同仁：nccu(小寫)加上出生月日(四碼)，共八碼。例如：出生月日為3月25日，密碼為nccu0325。
Default Passwords
Students:
- Domestic Students: The first six characters of your National ID No.(including the uppercase letter) + your birth month and day (four digits), for a total of 10 characters.
Example: If your National ID is A123456789 and birthdate is March 25 , your password will be A123450325.
- Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland Chinese, and International Students: "nccu" (lowercase) + your birth month and day (four digits), for a total of 8 characters.
Example: If your birthdate is March 25, your password will be nccu0325.
Faculty and Staff :
- For Domestic Faculty and Staff: The first six characters of your National ID, including the uppercase letter.Example: If your National ID is A123456789, your password will be A12345.
- For Foreign Faculty and Staff: "nccu" (lowercase) + your birth month and day (four digits), totaling eight characters.Example: If your birthdate is March 25, your password will be nccu0325.
